Transaction Management

Know every merchant before the first transaction.

Merchant Management onboards and verifies the businesses you serve, keeps their terms, accounts and documents in one record, and flags changes worth a second look. An officer confirms every merchant before it goes live.

What it does

One record per merchant, kept current.

Guided onboarding

Business registration, owner identity and settlement account details collected in one flow, read by Document OCR and checked for mismatches.

Owner and director checks

Owners and directors go through the same Finline KYC interview as your customers, so verification reads the same everywhere.

Terms and accounts

Fee and commission terms, settlement accounts and payout schedules recorded against the merchant, with every change approved and versioned.

Activity monitoring

Unusual changes in volume, refunds or disputes are flagged with the transactions behind them, for an officer to review.

Statements and queries

Merchant statements come from the same records the payouts use, so a query has one answer.

Lifecycle changes

Suspensions, terminations and reactivations are recorded with a reason and the officer who approved them.

Onboarding

From application to live, one confirmation at a time.

  1. 01

    Apply

The merchant or your field officer starts the application and uploads the business documents.

  2. 02

    Read and check

Registration, identity and account documents are read and compared; mismatches are flagged with the reason.

  3. 03

    Verify owners

Each owner and director completes the Finline KYC interview.

  4. 04

    Agree terms

Fees, commissions and the payout schedule are recorded and approved.

  5. 05

    Go live

An officer confirms the merchant. Only then can transactions and payouts run.

Who decides

No merchant goes live on a check alone.

An officer confirms every merchant. Automated checks prepare the decision; a named person makes it.
Mismatches are explained. Every flag says what did not match and what would resolve it.
Changes are versioned. Terms and account changes keep their history, with who approved each one.

Works with

Bring a handful of merchant files.

We will run them through onboarding with your team and show where the officer’s confirmation comes in.
